ASTM A572-50 is a high strength low-alloy columbium-vanadium structural steel. This specification provides for a 50ksi minimum yield strength and 65ksi minimum tensile strength. Theses grades are intended for riveted, bolted, or welded structures primarily in applications where extra strength or reduced end product weight is desired without foregoing strength
