Central Steel Service specializes in the distribution of High Strength Weathering or Corrosion Resistant steels in ASTM grades A588, A606-4, A242 and A847. We stock a complete range of sizes in plate, sheet, coil, angles, square and rectangular tube, and pipe, flat bar, round bar and square bar. We also stock ASTM A572-50 in angle, flat bar, channel, round bar and square bar.

In 100,000ksi minimum yield plate, we stock ASTM A514-B as well as Domex® extra high strength cold formable sheet.

If you have abrasive wear applications, we stock AR400 and AR500 through hardened abrasion resistant steel plate. We can offer abrasion resistant plate from domestic mills, as well as the Hardox® premium brand of abrasion resistant plates.

For the transmission pole industry we carry ASTM A572-65 with a .05 max Silicon for galvanized structures, as well as ASTM A871-65 for unpainted weathering steel pole applications.

Central Steel Service has two CNC burning tables with oxy-fuel and plasma burning capability, as well as a third CNC plasma burning machine that offers continuous edge beveling of plates and/or parts.
